Experience life in a quiet, traditional Andalusian hill village with the beautiful surrounding mountains, valleys and rivers, whilst being close to the bustling beach resorts and the historic city of Granada! Itrabo Hills. We offer guests the opportunity to relax and dine in any of three intimate and peaceful outdoor terraces.

Itrabo is a charming village that has an unmistakably north-African feel with its flat roofed, white washed houses that huddle tightly onto the hillside. Its network of traffic free narrow streets, squares and alleyways and access into the surrounding hills provide a walking delight and an interesting exploration into the timeless qualities of daily life of traditional rural Spain.

House
The house is cool, light and spacious with several areas to, dine, read or simply relax. Cool down in our plunge pool, sunbathe on one of our many terraces or simply relax under the canopy of the grape vine. Ward off the winter evening chill in front of the fire place after a days skiing or hike.

Board games and books of various interests are offered for your leisure in the reading room and lounges.

Rooms

We offer three double rooms and one single. The rooms are light, airy and spacious with balcony views towards the hills. Two double rooms come with en-suite bathrooms with a separate private bathroom for the remaining double room. Each room has a ceiling fan, and air conditioning is available if required. Each of the double rooms have sky television and DVD players and we offer a large selection of DVD films for your viewing.

Breakfast:- We offer a large breakfast to start your day with a mouth watering array of fresh fruits, fresh juices, fruit smoothies, cereals and home made breads and muffins. Room service is available and special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.

Lunch:- Packed lunches can be prepared for you for the day by prior request with the food and sandwich fillings of your choice. Alternatively why not take with you the special Itrabo Hills picnic pack for two offering you a selection of picnic dips and snacks, canapés, cold meats, a selection of cheeses and wine, complete with picnic rug, plates, wine glasses, serviettes and cutlery. The picnics come complete with maps and directions to reach our favourite picnic spots picked for their views, natural beauty and seclusion.

Dinner:- We offer a three course a la carte menu of Mediterranean North African cuisine. Dine in our candle lit dining room or one of the many terraces.

Around the area

Itrabo is located in the heart of Costa Tropical in Andalucia and is ideally situated close to a number of activities such as golf, skiing, walking, cycling and scuba diving.  Within easy reach of the surrounding sierras and local beach resorts. Further a field the historic city of Granada and three major airports are all easily accessible.

Itrabo offers fantastic walking/cycling countryside right on its doorstep offering both sea, river and mountain valley views. We have compiled a number of easy to follow walking route cards for you to use from easy to more demanding walks, from a leisurely forty minutes to a days walking. We also provide information on little known areas of natural beauty in the area that offer swimming and picnic opportunities. We have a number of walking book guides for you to use for areas within easy reach from Itrabo including the Sierra Nevada and the Alpajarras. Ask us for a road and off road cycling route guide. The coast offers other cycling opportunities which all ages can enjoy. There are also numerous bicycle hire facilities along the coast.
