Valencia can be a city of clichés: the light, the moon, the gun-powder, the paella, the flowers, the fallas... they are keys which attempt to explain what words cannot tell. It is necessary to visit and get to know Valencia to verify that centenary traditions live together with modernity; that sea and city are compatible; that the green colour of farms can be kept together with a modern urban scheme; that Valencia is unique at night and during the day. But the capital of the river Turia is more than that. In addition to the innumerable attractions which the city has had for years, now there is a series of showy infrastructures such as the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of Arts and Sciences) and the Museo Príncipe Felipe (Prince Philip Museum) which, as they are located in this environment, are linked to culture. Valencia has put the icing on the cake, although it will not have a rest and will go on decorating its succulent presentation.

Places to visit

The Gulliver Park:-  located in the old Turia riverbed, is a delight for children, where an immense Gulliver figurine lying on its back serves as an adventure area, with slides, climbing areas and other attractions, such as a scale model of the city. It is surrounded by a minigolf course, a giant chessboard, tracks, skateboard area and lots of playground equipment.

The Monforte Gardens:-  are listed as a National Artistic Treasure and are considered the most beautiful gardens in Spain. They are laid out in Neoclassical style with Romantic corners, containing fine Italian sculptures, fishponds, fountains with Cupid groups and a small mansion or summer pavilion. Guarding the entrance to the pavilion are two lions sculpted in Carrara marble

Valencia's sunny beaches:-  deserve to be mentioned separately. Their high quality standards, infrastructure, and level of service have made them famous throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. On More that 100 km of coastline a large number of seaside towns have been awarded the distinguished European Blue Flag. This distinctive internationally recognised symbol guarantees quality, high standards and beaches in good conditions, as well as the use of facilities for the numerous visitors that these beaches receive- both Spanish and foreign.
