The Upper House is an ideal base for exploring the entire Algarve region. The House is set amid beautiful rural countryside with orange groves and unrivalled views of Sierra Monchique, yet within easy reach of many coastal resorts including Albufeira, Praia Da Rocha, Portimao, Alvor, Lagos and historic Silves, the ancient former Moorish capital of the Algarve.

The nearest town of Silves is about 4 miles which has supermarkets, newsagents, banks, post office, the historic castle and an abundance of restaurants. Good restaurants are to be found in almost every town or village, nearest 2 miles.

Ramblers & Birdwatchers may wish to indulge themselves in the hills around Monchique or along the spectacular west coast. Others may be drawn to the glorious beaches, the hurly burly of the resorts or simply unwind and enjoy the quiet and privacy around our pool.

 


Accommodation

All bedrooms:- have their own adjacent private bathroom/shower room, and are air conditioned. The rooms have king size beds or twin beds, equipped with Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, towels, pool towels and bath robes. Heating is also included.

Breakfast:- Our traditional English breakfast is supplemented by a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt and is served in the air conditioned dining room.The Upper House, Guest Accommodation, Dining Area

A Car is Essential.

Faro Airport is approximately a 45 minute drive.

Around the area

The glorious beach of Armaçao de Pera is approximately 8 miles.

Activities

There are a number of centres for horse riding, diving, sailing, golf, cycling and mountain biking. Ramblers and birdwatchers will find numerous locations of special interest. 

Tariff

7 Nights Stay in a Double or Twin Bed Room £18 per person per night. (November to February 20% discount)

3 Night Minimum Stay, and Offers with no Single Supplements Prices On Request.

Booking Information:-  A Deposit of £50.00 or 75Euros is required for a one week booking.

Balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

We regret we are unable to supply credit card facilities.

We regret that due to the nature of the holiday and to ensure that all our guests enjoy privacy and relaxation we are unable to accept children.
